Yes, our Intruder Alarms are suitable for both home and businesses in Ireland.

A self-monitored alarm is a system where an app on your phone notifies you about any alarms or faults. Moreover, in most alarm systems, you can also set or unset the alarm via the app. However, the app may involve a small yearly or monthly fee to pay for a cloud account and the device data that sends the notifications.

A fully monitored alarm is a more comprehensive system, offering all the features of a self-monitored alarm. In addition, your alarm also sends a signal to an Alarm Receiving Centre or "ARC." If the alarm is triggered, you will receive a phone call from the monitoring center to notify you of the alarm or fault. Furthermore, you can also nominate other "keyholders" that will be called should you not answer. Finally, in the event of a confirmed alarm, the monitoring center can then phone the Gardai to respond.

No, this is completely up to you!  We have Alarm Solutions available to meet your needs:

A standalone alarm is a basic system that only sounds a local siren when triggered. Consequently, there is no external monitoring, so you will not receive any notifications or alerts. As a result, there are also no ongoing fees after installation.

A self-monitored alarm is a more advanced system that allows you to control and monitor your system using an app on your smartphone. Therefore, you will receive notifications of any alarms or faults. However, the responsibility for responding to alarms lies solely with you and there is a small annual or monthly fee to cover the cloud storage and data transmission.

 

A Monitored House Alarm offers a higher level of security. It notifies a professional monitoring station of any threats, allowing for a quicker response from emergency services. This can deter potential intruders and provide you with greater peace of mind.

Intruder alarms for one part of our suite of Security Systems.  We also supply and install Door Access Control systems and CCTV Camera Systems.

Intruder Alarms form part of our suite of security products.  When combined with CCTV cameras, intruders know that you will be alerted and that intruders will be recorded on cameras.

Ciz ICT is PSA licensed Installer of Intruder Alarms.  We are required to meet European standards and are audited annually to ensure that we are maintaining the highest standards.

Yes, we can use and upgrade both existing wired and wireless Security Alarm Systems.
